ATH still $3,673.95
Last week, gold hit its all‑time high at $3,673.95/oz but has since retraced as profit‑taking kicked in.

Fed rate cut expected, dollar modestly firmer
Markets are still expecting a 25 bps cut at the upcoming Fed meeting. A slight strengthening of the dollar and short‑term profit‑taking are capping gains.

Market Outlook

With the rate cut likely, gold may try to push back toward previous highs above $3,650‑$3,670 if the Fed signals dovishness. But near‑term resistance and risk of pullbacks are real, especially if inflation surprises to the upside or the dollar strengthens. Key support to watch: $3,600‑$3,630.
